Happy Holiday Trip In Japan - Part 1

Japan is one of the country whereby Mr Teddy and I will definitely go again. We simply love the hospitality of the Japanese, the cleanliness of the country, the scenic and a lot more.

We traveled to Japan sometimes back during the Autumn Season and we enjoy our holiday in Japan. Mr Teddy planned for our 10 days trip in Japan and we traveled to different parts of Japan (Tokyo > Osaka > Mount Koya > Kyoto > Tokyo).

When Teddy started planning for our trip, he got a little shocked by the complexity of the Japan train system. It seems complex as there are so many lines. However, I must said that Japan train system is awesome. You can easily travel to different parts of Japan via the train. We also downloaded the metro and subway app for easily reference when we were in Japan.

Japan has quite a number of passes such as JR pass which can helps to save the transportation cost in Japan. Hence, should anyone travels to Japan, do plan careful and make full use of the pass.

When we touched down at Narita International Airport, we head to Tokyo Station via the Narita Express (N'EX). Narita Express is a very convenient way of travelling to the major town in Tokyo. It is also cheaper compared to airport transfer or taxi.

It was not a very pleasant start of our holiday as Tokyo was hit by typhoon. It was raining heavily and windy. Our hotel, APA Hotel Ginza Kyobashi was actually within walking distance from Tokyo Station. We bought two umbrellas and tried to figure out our direction to the hotel. However, due to the rainy weather, it was kind of tough. Thus, we ended up taking a taxi to the hotel. Taxi in Japan is well-known to be expensive. Luckily the hotel was near and we need not pay a bomb for it.
