1. Frequent flight promotion to Bali from Singapore. Able to purchase ticket from major commercial airline such as KLM and Garuda at a price of less than SGD $250 per pax.
2. The travel time is short (2 hours 40 minutes from Singapore)
3. A perfect seaside holiday for Mr Teddy who love to swim in the sea. The sea is well maintain and clean.
4. Food is cheaper and most importantly delicious. Able to enjoy fine dinning with less than SGD $100 for 2 pax. Personally, in our opinion, you rarely get such a pricing for the same ambiance and food quality in Singapore.
5. Prices of hotel/resort is reasonable
We have been to Bali for quite a number of time over the past two year. There was even once, we travel to Bali twice in a year. We simply enjoy it. Since we have been there quite often, we know what are the places we will stay and where to find our food. Not much of planning needed.
There are 4 restaurants in Bali which we will go without fail whenever we are there.
1. Ultimo at Seminyak
An Italian restaurant, our all time favorite. The food is delicious. Especially the pasta, it is cheesy and yummy. The ambiance of the restaurant is romantic and the price is awesome. On average, a plate of pasta only cost about IDR 55,000 (approximately SGD$6) Should you be unsure of what to order you may try out their dinner set menu. The set dinner which includes appetizer, first course, main course, a dessert and a glass of house wine only cost IDR 200,000 (approximately SGD $20).
2. Ku De Ta Bali
A perfect place for breakfast. The restaurant is just beside the beach. A good and filling breakfast with the morning breeze will make your day. A set breakfast cost about IDR 80,000 (approximately SGD $8). The breakfast consist of your choice of breakfast, a coffee or tea, a glass of fruit juice and fruits.
3. Bebek Bengil - Dirty Duck Diner
If it is your first time to Bali, you must try the dirty duck. It is one of the Ubud, Bali delicacy. The meat is tender and juicy. On average per plate is about IDR 100,000 (approximately SGD $10).
4. Wahaha Pork Ribs
It is our newly found restaurant. They are well known for the pork ribs. It is a must try. The meat is tender and soft. One plate cost about IDR 160,000 (approximately SGD $16)
