When we landed in TaoYuan, it was already late in the evening. Thus, we decided to stay one night in TaoYuan. We check in to the hotel, Kuva Chateau Hotel (Address: No. 398, Minchuan Road, Zhongli District, Taoyuan, Taiwan 32055).
It is a five stars hotel and the price per night is only about SGD $100 per night. The room is spacious, clean and well maintained. Not to worry about food. There are restaurants nearby and ZhongLi night market is also within walking distance from the hotel (less than 10 minutes walk).
Mr Teddy and I love night market. It is the culture of Taiwan also. As usual, Mr Teddy gets excited with food. We walk the market one round before deciding what to eat.
Tones of food available. We had stinky toufu (臭豆腐), 大腸包小腸, teriyaki, soup etc. It is cheap and tasty. Such a satisfying meal. That is the beauty of night market in Taiwan. You get to eat a variety of food without having a hole in your pocket. However, there is usually no proper space for our to eat. You will have to either walk and eat at the same time or buy back the food to hotel.
I am so glad that Mr Teddy love the night market like me. Else what a missed.
